Henry's Haul is a perfect opportunity for a community service project.

We HIT our MILESTONE!

Our Mission:
We collect new, single-pack, toy cars for
​Children's Mercy Hospital. Simple as that! 

Our group collects toy cars for pediatric patients. We started collecting toy cars in 2013 thinking this was a one time service project. Boy, were we wrong!
​We are currently in our 12th year and have donated OVER 100,000 toy cars to date.
As of January, 2016 we became a 501c3 charity.
Your donations are eligible as a deduction on your taxes.

In 2013, we donated 700 cars and 1300 packs of markers

When asked how many toy cars CMH goes through in a year, they responded
with 5000...so in 2014 we blew our goal out of the water with 6,298 toy cars!

In 2015, donated 10,116 toy cars
In 2016, we donated 10,601 toy cars
In 2017, we donated 17,726 toy cars
In 2018, we donated 14,191 toy cars
In 2019, we donated 3,435 toy cars
In 2020, we donated 4,350 toy cars
In 2021, we donated 2,684 toy cars

TWO ways to donate: 

1. You shop and donate new toy cars. Drop them off at an approved location (see list below) or contact us to coordinate. 

GROUP DONATION: Do you have a girls scout/boy scout troop that needs a service project? Class Leadership project? Coffee group? Church youth group? How about a company team challenge?

PERSONAL DONATION: Wal-mart and Target typically sells single pack Hot Wheels for 97 cents. Consider grabbing a few cars when you go to the store next time. Do that a few times and you've got a nice stash of cars to donate.
It's THAT easy.

2. If you want to donate money, please use the paypal link and we'll make the purchase for you. 
We purchase through our friend, Ken Dotson, A&J Toys who generously gives us an amazing deal on single pack toy cars. Typicall, between 50¢-75¢ each

ANY Brand of toy car will work. Only requirement is they must be new and in original package. Single packs are preferred but we will take multi-packs too!

Henry was a sweetheart with a contagious smile, loved to play on his swing set and enjoyed his grandparents' farm. Henry also had Leukemia and in February 2014 he gained his angel wings. We started "Henry's Haul" in Aug 2013 during one of Henry's stays at CMH. You see, kids still want to be kids even when they're sick. Most kids can play, even if they're confined to their room or even in bed. A simple car can add that smile to their face and perhaps, even for a minute, make their stay a tad better. Beep! Beep! Vroom! We ♥ you Henry!
